We've just had a wonderful time at Brick Kiln pottery. It's a super venue with lots of space and looks beautiful. Emma is a fabulous teacher. Her instructions were clear and she helped just enough to let me learn how to make my two pots. I've never thrown pots before, but I just know I'll be back!

Myself and a friend attended the make a highland cow pottery session yesterday, I am not very crafty but no experience was needed at all!
Clear step by step instructions and even if you didn't remember or couldn't hear or quite understand they would come around and show you.
Fabulous staff with great sense of humour, even if my cow looked like he had his tongue stuck on the electric fence 😜
Very enjoyable experience would highly recommend, we are going boom for another experience really soon!!

The Brick Kiln Pottery Studio offers a fully equipped workshop for learners and members who love ceramics. The teachers, Emma and Adams, are very friendly, and their instruction is clear and engaging. I had a wonderful three-day course there - it was so much fun that I decided to become a member.

The facility is clean, well presented and the coffee is great. Emma was very patient and gave great demonstrations of each step. My Goodness!!! What an excellent place. From the cute cafe to the relaxed atmosphere to create a little piece of joy. What a restful way to spend an afternoon! My son (6yr old) and I went together and loved it. Can’t wait to go back!!

I joined the 2 hour pottery wheel throwing taster session. Emma was great at demonstrating the techniques and then walking us through making 2 pots to be glazed and fired for collection. A lovely light crrative space with a cafe and shop of artists work downstairs. I highly recommend giving it a go if you've been thinking about it.

The most wonderful few hours! I booked a pottery session for myself and my daughter for her birthday and from the moment we arrived it was so lovely. Emma our teacher was so nice and friendly, keeping the session relaxed and fun but still imparting her extensive knowledge. We produced some amazing pots on the wheel ( far nicer than I imagined we would as total beginners) and we were actually so sad when time was up!
I would definitely recommend Brick Kiln to anyone. Thank you Emma for a fantastic experience and some much needed family bonding time 🥰

Went for a private pottery session with my partner and was beyond impressed. The studio was lovely and very welcoming. Emma showed us exactly what we had to do, and then was very patient with me when I forgot the steps. The strangers coffee was a bonus too! Can’t wait to collect our pieces, and hopefully we will be back soon to do some more creating!

I did the 1 Day Improvers Wheel Course with Emma, and had an absolutely wonderful time. In a lovely studio with coffee and snacks at the mini cafe, the day was spent with lots of support and tutoring where needed. I was able to build on skills I had, and explore new techniques, throwing a variety of pieces over the course of the day. Thank you very much to the team ☺️
