MAKE A MUG WORKSHOP

Bring along your coffee or tea-loving friends and create something you’ll use and enjoy every day.

ABOUT THE CLASS

In this relaxed hand-building workshop, you’ll design, shape and decorate your very own ceramic mug. Whether you prefer something simple and classic or a more creative, textured design, you’ll have the freedom to make a piece that feels completely your own.

With plenty of templates to choose from, as well as the option to follow your own ideas, this session is all about enjoying the process and getting hands-on with clay.

What to Expect

You’ll be guided through the basics of hand-building, learning simple techniques to shape and form your mug. Once your structure is complete, you’ll decorate your piece using a range of coloured slips to add pattern, texture and personality.

There’s no pressure to keep up or get things “perfect” — this workshop is about experimenting, learning something new, and having a bit of fun along the way.

After the session, your mug will be dried, fired, and clear glazed in the studio, ready for you to use at home.
