Christmas Ornament Workshops at Brick Kiln Pottery

There’s something so lovely about the run-up to Christmas here at Brick Kiln Pottery. The studio fills with soft light, a hint of cinnamon in the air, and rows of tiny clay stars and robins waiting to be decorated. It’s become one of our favourite times of year — and our Christmas Ornament & Hot Chocolate Workshops are right at the heart of it.

These cosy two-hour sessions are all about slowing down, getting creative, and enjoying a bit of festive making. You’ll create and paint up to three beautiful ceramic ornaments — proper keepsakes you can treasure year after year. They’re perfect for your tree, or as thoughtful handmade gifts for family and friends.

While you craft, we’ll keep you topped up with a delicious hot chocolate (or your favourite hot drink). And yes, there are optional marshmallows and cream for that extra festive touch. It’s a lovely way to spend an afternoon — a mix of clay, conversation, and a little Christmas magic

Workshops are just £25 per person, and suitable for ages 6 and up. All children need to be booked in with a paying adult — and don’t worry, parents, you’ll have just as much fun making your own keepsakes too!

Once your pieces are finished, we’ll glaze and fire them ready to collect in time for Christmas, so you can hang them on your tree or wrap them as gifts.
