Take part in a relaxing short walk in our rural surroundings, to gather foliage for your casting.

This immersive experience invites you to explore the delicate intricacies of various flora, all while creating stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces that beautifully capture the essence and spirit of the natural world around us.

Floral Impressions Workshop Schedule

10:00 AM - Arrival
Begin your day by arriving at our serene setting, where nature meets artistry.

Gather Foliage
Enjoy a leisurely walk around our farm to gather foliage. You are welcome to bring pieces from your own garden, allowing for a personal touch.

Clay Preparation
Partake in a relaxed, step-by-step demonstration that guides you through the process of preparing and rolling clay to form the base for your unique piece.

Floral Imprint
With your clay prepared, you will gently press your collected flowers and foliage into the clay, capturing their delicate textures and creating a stunning pattern.

Creating the Impression
Next, we will pour plaster over your floral design, a step that will create a lasting impression of your natural elements.

Refreshments and Reflection
As the plaster sets for approximately 40 minutes, indulge in delicious refreshments provided by our coffee house. Take this peaceful moment to unwind and reflect on your creative journey. Please remember to bring your own lunch if you wish to enjoy a meal during this time.

Reveal Your Masterpiece
The final highlight of the workshop occurs as you peel away the clay, unveiling your remarkable floral cast—an exquisite, one-of-a-kind keepsake to cherish.

3:00 PM - Workshop Conclusion
As the workshop comes to an end, leave with not only a beautiful creation but also a renewed sense of connection to nature and the art of pottery.

Spaces are limited. Age 12+. Under 18’s must have a paying adult present. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the walk and weather. Bring a packed lunch. Refreshments, cakes & scones available in our coffee house. All materials and an apron supplied.
