4 weeks intro to throwing Course
Fancy trying something new and hands-on? Our 4-week Beginner Wheel Course is a relaxed introduction to working with clay, designed for complete beginners.
Rather than rushing through lots of techniques, this course focuses on getting comfortable at the wheel. You’ll explore the key foundations of throwing, including how to centre clay and shape simple, satisfying forms such as bowls and cylinders. The emphasis is on repetition, practice, and building confidence in a calm, supportive environment.
With small groups and plenty of guidance, you’ll have time to slow down, experiment, and really get a feel for the process. By the end, you’ll have your own handmade pieces and a solid first step into wheel throwing.
