This friendly and relaxed course is perfect for complete beginners – no experience necessary!

Over six weekly sessions, you'll explore the core techniques of hand-building with clay, including pinching, coiling, and slab building. Each week introduces a new project designed to help you build confidence and develop your skills. You’re also welcome to revisit or continue a previous project at your own pace – this is your time to experiment and enjoy the process.

In the final week, you’ll be introduced to glazing, learning how to decorate and finish your creations with colour and texture before they’re fired in our kiln.

There’s no pressure to keep up with others – it’s all about having fun, learning something new, and enjoying some mindful, creative time in the studio.

Each session lasts 2.5 hours and includes all materials, tools, and firings.Each session is two and a half hours.

Come and create your very own adorable Highland cow in this fun and relaxed 2-hour hand-building workshop!

With step-by-step guidance, you’ll learn how to shape and sculpt your cow from clay, using simple techniques that are perfect for beginners. Whether you go for a classic look or add your own quirky touches, you’ll end up with a hairy highland character full of charm and personality.

This workshop is ideal for all abilities – no previous clay experience needed. It’s a lovely way to spend time getting creative with friends or family. Children aged 12+ are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

£35 per person – includes all materials and firing of your piece.

Want to paint your cow with colourful studio glazes before it’s fired? You can stay longer on the same day for an additional £10 – no need to come back! Allow an extra 30 minutes to paint.

This session is a freestyle session where you decide what you would like to make and I will be there to guide you. Maybe you fancy making a mug, a vase, a serving plate or whatever else takes your fancy. 

No pressure at all to keep up with others, it’s just chance to experiment and have fun!

This class is great for beginners who want to experience clay but do not want to commit to weekly sessions.  

This workshop includes all clay and use of tools, glazes and 2x firings per person. One glass of delicious Non-Alcoholic Prosecco. Feel free to bring your own Prosecco! Glasses provided.

We will use various hand-building techniques to create a mug in your choice of style. Plenty of templates to choose from or simply go with your own design.

Mugs can be decorated in a range of our coloured slips then clear glazed after their first firing.
